Meet the Parish Council


Deborah and her family have lived in Fowlmere for over 25 years and she has been a member of the parish council for 20 of them. Along with her various parish council commitments Deborah has also served as a governor on the village primary school, been a chairman of the village hall committee, a neighbourhood watch co-ordinator and has for many years been part of the British Legion yearly collection team in Fowlmere. Nicola Webb Ms N Webb has lived in Fowlmere for over 30 years. Having worked in the village for a long period, she now works for the family business also based in Fowlmere. She has been actively involved in several village groups as her son has grown up and she is now looking forward to giving her time to the parish council.   Lawrence Wragg Lawrence Wragg has lived in the village for 12 years. He has been vice chairman of Ickleton Parish Council, and chairman of the Governors of Duxford School.
   
Jan Peacock Jan Peacock  is a first time Councillor and has lived in Fowlmere since September 1999, is married, has children and grandchildren and is concerned for all aspects of wellbeing in respect of Fowlmere and the local Community. Wishes to "give something back" to the Community.   Elaine O'Regan  Ms E O'Regan  has lived in the village since 1999 and joined the Parish Council to begin playing a more active part within the local community. Elaine is the Chair of the Finance sub-committee.
     
Michael Sunderland Mike Sunderland has lived in the village for 4 years. He has children and grandchildren. Having been a teacher for over 35 years, he is aware of how important a stable local community can be.   John Bottrill John Bottrill is a first time councillor, and has lived in and around Fowlmere since 1964. He was married in St Mary’s church in 1968. Both his children went to the School. Having been involved in Coach transport for 44 years, now retired and wishes to represent the concerns and issues of the local community.
     
Pat Flynn Pat Flynn has been resident in the village for over 10 years and this is her second time on the Parish Council. Pat has taken responsibility for the play equipment and also helps on the Village Hall Committee.   Tony Bearpark Tony Bearpark has lived and worked in the village for 20yrs as Manager of Appleacre Park. He is President of the Fowlmere and Thriplow Royal British Legion and now looks forward to working with the PC Team in developing the future of Fowlmere and the continued well being of all village residents.
